PRICING

TCF hand-crafted beds and bedroom furniture generally ranges in price from $1,200 for a simple bedside table with  a few drawers to $10,000 or more for a full bedroom set. TCF will be happy to make suggestions to keep your bedroom furniture project within your budget.

DESIGN

TCF has years of experience designing custom furniture for clients. Use a piece or feature in our portfolio as inspiration, or provide inspiration photos in the form of a Flickr, Pinterest or other gallery.

DELIVERY & INSTALLATION

TCF will be happy to recommend a furniture delivery service for local delivery. We've struggled to find a good fit for a long distance delivery service. We generally do not deliver or install furniture ourselves, with the exception of small pieces for local delivery.

THE COMMISSION PROCESS

In order to give clients a price for a piece of furniture, I need to work from a finished design. As most of my clients don't have a finished design, I generally offer an estimated price a first step, just to see if my price is within my client's budget for the project. If so, I ask for a design deposit (typically $300), which is non-refundable but will be applied to the price of your piece. As soon as I receive the design deposit, I begin work on the design, and email drawings to my clients for approval. I generally get pretty close in my preliminary drawings, based on conversations via email, text or phone. This process continues until my client is happy with the completed design.  At this point, I provide a final price for the project, which will not come as a shock. I keep the budget in mind as I work, and let clients know if an option will increase or decrease the price of the piece. If the final price is acceptable, I invoice my client for a 50% deposit (less the design deposit paid), and the balance on completion. As the piece is built, I keep clients up to date through a client portal page, which has all of the details of the job in one place. When I complete the job, I'll send a set of high resolution photos for approval before delivery is arranged.
